Wachovia announced today that they are no longer offering the pick-a-pay, negative amortization mortgage loan. Additionally, they’ve announced that the bank will assist current pick-a-pay loan holders by waiving all pre-payment penalty fees for those looking to refinance out of the loan. Here’s the details: Effectively immediately, Wachovia is waiving all prepayment fees associated with its Pick-A-Pay mortgage to allow customers complete flexibility in their home financing decisions. . . .

Wireless and Mobile News has a great summary of the new hands-free law in California. The law is differnet for drivers over 18 and under 18. Under 18 drivers can not use a wireless telephone, pager, laptop or any other electronic communication or mobile services device to speak or text while driving in any manner, even "hands-free."

The folks over at Royal Pingdom have discovered an interesting trend: Google Trends shows that the number of searches for both “web hosting” and “hosting” has decreased quite rapidly in the past few years.
