An article published on Universe Today back in March of this year detailing former NASA engineer Jim McLane's idea for on a one-way, one-person mission to Mars generated a lot of interest. This is certainly an interesting development. I’m not a fan of government monopolies, but there’s no denying that the state-controlled workers compensation agency has been good for North Dakota businesses for the last decade or so. But, as with any state-controlled agency, that could change with the political winds. It would certainly be nice to see certain interests in the state (I’m looking at you, Jasper Schneider) not be able to use the Workforce Safety and Insurance agency as a poli
